His journey began in 2003 when he founded Clarity Diagnostics, a venture that has since flourished from a single dip urinalysis strip test into an extensive portfolio comprising over 300 SKU’s. Right from the outset, Rick’s vision was clear: to introduce the highest quality products to the market, marked by competitive pricing and an unparalleled commitment to white-glove customer service.

Beyond his role as the founder and CEO of Clarity Diagnostics, Rick also spearheads Clarity Lab Solutions (www.claritylabsolutions.com), a highly advanced molecular-based laboratory situated in Boca Raton, Florida. His dedication to innovation and excellence continues to drive both his companies to the forefront of the diagnostics and laboratory solutions sector.

Tom Rolfes

Tom Rolfes

Managing Partner

Tom played a pivotal role as a founding investor at Clarity Diagnostics back in 2003 and now serves as a managing partner of the Clarity Companies. His dedication to the company has been unwavering, having served as an advisor for the initial 17 years before transitioning to a full-time role in 2020. In his current capacity, Tom excels in business development and serves as a crucial corporate liaison.

Beyond his involvement with Clarity, Tom boasts an extensive career history. He has successfully managed a PVC Plastics distribution business and also holds a partnership in a Cajun/Barbecue restaurant. His multifaceted experience brings a unique perspective to the Clarity team.

Warren Wright

Warren Wright

Managing Director

Warren currently serves as a managing director for the Clarity Companies with responsibility for strategic planning, finance, and information technology. Warren has delivered business process re-engineering, and global integrated cash management and analytics solutions to Fortune 100 companies including IBM, EDS, and GM as well as several SMB and start-up businesses alike.

Warren most recently served as CEO at SEAD Software, a managed service provider of advanced analytic solutions on a proprietary platform that provides transparency and access to all corporate information on any Internet connected device. Warren has run both public and private companies, provided strategic planning, raised debt and equity, provided financial and operational restructuring with several successful turnarounds.

Dr. Stephen Shaya

Dr. Stephen Shaya, MD, stands out as an innovative leader and entrepreneur in healthcare. Guiding Akkad Holdings as the Founder & Managing Director, he directs investments in worldwide healthcare initiatives, complementing his role as Executive Servant Leader at J&B Medical. Over his 17-year tenure at J&B, Dr. Shaya has pioneered 18 business ventures, spotlighting his relentless pursuit of extending the company’s reach through innovation.

In alliance with the Vatican and the Cura Foundation, Akkad Holdings aims to deliver healthcare to those less privileged. Dr. Shaya’s ethos, articulated in the phrase “People. Purpose. Pay It Forward,” shines through his active participation in boards like the American Diabetes Association, The Henry Ford Health System, and Endeavor Detroit. His numerous accolades include the Global Medical Innovation and Leadership Award, Vatican Pontifical Hero Award, and the recently conferred “AAPI Presidential Healthcare Leadership Award 2023.”

With degrees from Wayne State University School of Medicine and training at North Oakland Medical Center, Dr. Shaya’s career exemplifies his unyielding dedication to innovation, empathy, and excellence in healthcare. His impact on the industry has reimagined how healthcare services are approached, providing renewed hope and patient well-being.

Dr. Joseph M. Chalil, MD, MBA, FACHE

Board of Directors

Dr. Chalil is an author of several scientific and research papers in international publications, is the Chairman of the Complex Health Systems Advisory Board, H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and a member of Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) Executive Leadership Council. A U.S. Navy Medical Corps veteran, he is board certified in healthcare management.

He is also the Chief Medical Officer at Novo Integrated Sciences, Inc, and the Chief Strategy Officer of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI). He has been awarded a Fellowship by the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare organizations. Dr. Chalil is the former Chairman of the Indo-American Press Club (IAPC), the largest ethnic fraternity of Indian American and Indian Canadian media, with a mandate to help shape a world through fair, just, and equitable media for all and future generations. He is an expert in U.S. healthcare policy and a strong advocate for patient-centered care.

Kevin Joyce

Kevin joined Clarity Diagnostics in July 2022, bringing with him over two decades of sales experience in the healthcare industry. His most recent position prior to joining Clarity was at Abbott Diagnostics, where he served in the informatics division, overseeing connectivity sales in the northeastern region of the country. Before his tenure at Abbott, Kevin held multiple roles at Roche Diagnostics.

Jason Lustig

Director of Finance

Jason is a seasoned healthcare executive who has held the position of Director of Finance at Clarity Diagnostics since 2008. In this capacity, he assumes responsibility for overseeing and guiding all financial, accounting, and administrative operations within the organization. Jason is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors.

Kevin Rife

Financial & Strategic Advisor

Kevin brings an impressive 25 years of experience to the table, primarily as an advisor to C-suite executives and within entrepreneurial ventures. This extensive background follows a solid foundation of 10 years spent in a firm and in private practice as a certified public accountant (CPA). Kevin’s expertise spans a wide range of fields, including corporate renewal, business transformation, business process improvement, enterprise value transformation, debt restructuring, and M&A advisory. He excels in bridging the gap between finance and technology, particularly in data analytics and business intelligence.

Kevin joined the Clarity Companies in March of 2020, coinciding with a period of rapid growth. In his current role, he wears multiple hats, providing invaluable guidance to the management team. This includes fulfilling CFO duties, overseeing accounting and finance operations, nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging proprietary technologies that Clarity utilizes for enhanced business intelligence. Kevin’s contributions have been instrumental in advancing Clarity’s strategic objectives.
